Hundreds of Retired Veterans to Rally for Peace November 11 at Veterans Day Ceremony at Riderwood in Silver Spring, MD

A Veterans Day ceremony in which hundreds of Riderwood retirement community veterans from the U.S. Navy, Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, and  Coast Guard will rally for peace. They will be joined by their spouses - who kept their families together on the home front during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War - and by their fellow residents. The hour-long ceremony will include tributes to all branches of the military, as well as anecdotal stories of life in the military from the following residents.
Friday, November 11, from  10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., in the Riderwood Encore Theater, 3140 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD.
