Spring Is Finally Here! And Now It's Time to Garden at Oak Crest

April 15, 2015

On Thursday morning, April 16, residents of Oak Crest retirement community in Parkville, MD will be doing spring cleaning for their garden areas, where they will be planting delicious vegetables and beautiful flowers for the season.

This year, they will be joined by students from nearby Rosedale Baptist School for an intergenerational appreciation of gardening.

Together, they'll be preparing the garden areas for planting, and the residents will share their secret "green thumb" tips with the students.  There promises to be many colorful photo ops on a sunny spring morning.

The event will take place from 10:15am-11:30am, and Oak Crest is located at 8800 Walther Boulevard (connecting Joppa Road and White Marsh Boulevard).  The event is sponsored by the Oak Crest Volunteer Program.
