Oak Crest Promotes Dan Plakatoris to Director of Sales

Parkville, Maryland—Oak Crest announced the promotion of Dan Plakatoris to Director of Sales.

Mr. Plakatoris has been with Oak Crest, a retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living, for more than five years.  He began as Sales Manager and then promoted to Associate Director of Sales in February 2019.  Previously, he served as a contractor supporting Military Service Member reintegration at the Maryland Air National Guard and as a Senior Customer Relations Representative for Baltimore Gas and Electric.

He has received multiple company-based honors, including the Oak Crest Leader of the Quarter Award in 2017 and the Erickson Living Sales, Marketing & Communications Department "Above and Beyond Award" in 2019.

"Dan is an accomplished leader at our community as evidenced by his recent promotions and the recognition he has earned from his peers," stated Mark Roussey, Executive Director.  "More importantly, Dan truly embraces personal interaction and creating a positive experience for our residents and his co-workers.  We look forward to working with Dan in his new position within our sales team and wish him continued success."

Mr. Plakatoris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Marketing from Towson University.  His wife, Cathy, and he are the parents of three daughters, Michelle, Kim and Lauren.  A resident of Fallston in Harford County, he serves as a lector and RCIA teacher at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church.
