Parkville, Maryland—Oak Crest named William Tian to serve as Associate Executive Director.
Mr. Tian brings an impressive professional background in operations, health care and dining to Oak Crest, a retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living. Previously, he worked for Genesis Healthcare, serving as Division Vice President of Dining & Allied Clinical Services. His region encompassed 245 properties located in 19 states.
In his new leadership position, Mr. Tian will support day-to-day operations at the 87-acre campus that is home to more than 2,100 residents in independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing neighborhoods.

Mr. Tian earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in biology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and holds certifications in culinary arts, food & hospitality management and adult education techniques from the Culinary Institute of America. He has also received several professional certifications through his affiliation with the American Culinary Federation.
A resident of Reisterstown, he volunteers with Special Olympics of Maryland.
