Parkville, Maryland—Oak Crest promoted Josh Runkles to the position of Sales Manager.
Mr. Runkles has been with Oak Crest, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living, since 2005. He began his career as the Community TV Production Coordinator before advancing to Community TV and A/V Manager, where he served for ten years.
A founding member of the Long-Range Planning Committee, Mr. Runkles previously served as co-chair of the Erickson Living Values Committee and led the My Erickson initiative, an interactive app that provides residents with community news and information on their smart phones and computers. For the past ten years, he has also produced an annual telethon that has raised more than $400,000 for the Oak Crest Benevolent Care Fund.
Mr. Runkles has received multiple company-based honors from his peers, including two Manager of the Quarter awards and one Manager of the Year recognition.

Mr. Runkles is a graduate of Towson University. His wife, Jamie, and he reside in Owings Mills and are the proud parents of Ethan (9) and Quinn (5).
