Oak Crest Names Adam Dickson as Associate Executive Director

November 29, 2018

Parkville, Maryland—Oak Crest, an Erickson Living retirement community, appointed Adam Dickson to serve as Associate Executive Director.

Mr. Dickson holds more than 10 years of experience with Erickson Living.  Beginning in 2010, he served as a Business Office Manager and then the Administrator-in-Training (AIT) for the continuing care neighborhood at Riderwood, a sister community in Silver Spring, Maryland.  In 2014, he became Assistant Administrator at Oak Crest for little more than a year.  In September 2015, Mr. Dickson was promoted to Director of Continuing Care at Wind Crest, an Erickson Living community in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Dickson returned to the Baltimore region in April 2018 to serve as Associate Executive Director for Charlestown, the flagship campus of Erickson Living in Catonsville.

In his leadership position at Oak Crest, Mr. Dickson will support day-to-day operations of the 87-acre campus that is home to more than 2,100 residents in independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing neighborhoods.  He will focus on resident satisfaction and employee engagement outcomes.

"It is exciting to welcome Adam back to the Oak Crest family as he began his career here as an operations associate in 2008," stated Mark Roussey, Executive Director.  "As we are in the midst of fulfilling our long-term strategic plan, Adam's wealth of knowledge in the senior living industry will help us to better serve current residents with an eye to a bright future.  Adam appreciates our mission-driven culture, and on behalf of our entire team, we look forward to working with him at Oak Crest."

Mr. Dickson is a graduate of Towson University with Bachelor's degrees in health care management, finance and accounting.  Born and raised in Parkville, he is now a resident of Locust Point with his wife, Kelli, and two daughters, Nora and Celia.  He volunteers at St. Ann's Adult Daycare and participates on the Erickson Living Dragon Boat team for Catholic Charities.
