Oak Crest to Commemorate the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Breakfast Event

PARKVILLE, MD---Residents, employees and special guests of Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, will commemorate the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at an intergenerational breakfast celebration to be held on January 22nd at 9am.
Oak Crest is honored to announce that civil rights activist Rev. Cortly C.D. Witherspoon, Sr. will provide the keynote address.  Rev. Witherspoon serves as Assistant Pastor of Faith Church in Baltimore and President of the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
The event will also feature inspirational musical performances from soloist Devonna B. Rowe as well as the Friends of the Baltimore City College Choir, under the direction of Marcus D. Smith.
