HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (March 16, 2016) – Wind Crest retirement community's unprecedented growth in the past year has positioned it for a growing, future demand for quality senior living in the Denver area through its addition of several new residence buildings:
McHenry's Crossing boasts 102 apartment homes, many with breathtaking views of mountain vistas, the Denver skyline and the High Line Canal and Trail. McHenry's Crossing also has a movie theater, fitness center and a restaurant with patio dining.
Parry Landing has 74 apartment homes, a pub, a café and a comfortable lounge.
The High Line Overlook combines 30 apartment homes with a resident-run TV studio, a catering room for private parties and Burton's Steakhouse, a new restaurant named after Wind Crest's first resident, Clarence Burton. It also features a 230-seat Arts and Enrichment Center.
Wind Crest also has Mill Vista Lodge, an onsite continuing care neighborhood that offers assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.
Wind Crest now has 1,200 residents, with many more expected this year.
"Many of our apartment homes have waiting lists," said Jason Atwell, Senior Sales Director. He said hundreds of people are joining the Priority List to pre-plan their move into Wind Crest.
Wind Crest, Inc., a nonprofit organization, is solely responsible for fulfilling financial responsibilities to residents under the contract.
Wind Crest is within the network of communities developed and managed by Maryland-based Erickson Living.
