Rose Court Continuing Care at Maris Grove Celebrates Five Years of Providing Quality Care in Delaware County

GLEN MILLS, PA - Rose Court, the continuing care neighborhood for Maris Grove, is celebrating its fifth anniversary as one of Delaware County's premiere facilities for skilled nursing, assisted living, respite care and long-term nursing, short-term rehabilitation and dementia care.

Since Rose Court opened in 2009, the community has cared for nearly 2,600 residents - offering them high-quality programs and services in a unique setting.
One example is the Erickson Living "Person Centered Care" program, which provides residents the independence to perform basic activities whenever they wish, e.g., eat, sleep and shower.
Maris Grove Executive Director Maureen Heckler said, "Like all of Maris Grove, Rose Court is built upon the pillars of independence, security, topnotch health care, and affordability for middle-income retirees. When a loved one needs extra assistance and care, our community is always there to answer the call."
"This is truly a very special anniversary for us because of the success our residents have realized for five years now," said Rose Court at Maris Grove Administrator Danielle Hammer. "Our approach is to recognize the uniqueness of each resident and encourage them to participate in the direction of their care. Studies show that residents who live in a setting where they are encouraged to make decisions regarding their care have a higher level of emotional well-being and lower rates of decline in physical function, resulting in a more positive experience for both residents and staff."
Rose Court at Maris Grove is a three-story building that has 132 rooms and residents
have the opportunity to utilize the amenities offered at the community's independent neighborhood. Some of these services include a bank, physicians, aquatics center, fitness center, creative arts studio, computer lab, beauty salon, pharmacy and marketplace.
Rose Court at Maris Grove also has a very active programming department which  provides off-campus visits to art museums, theatres, shows and other programs aimed at enriching the lives of residents.
In addition, Rose Court received highest honors in overall satisfaction by the annual Holleran Resident Survey, which is an independent firm that assesses senior living communities, hospitals and health systems as well as other public health agencies.
