Hingham, MA -- With close to 97% of apartment homes at Linden Ponds currently occupied, and in response to continued high demand, Hingham's premier retirement community Linden Ponds, an Erickson Living retirement community, has opened its 9th independent living residential building, Willard Square.
"Linden Ponds' occupancy continues to rise and our expanding customer base influenced our decision to move forward with construction of our 9th residential building," said Jim Centola, executive director, Linden Ponds. "We are all very excited to welcome our first set of new residents who began moving into Willard Square this week."
The new 156,378 square foot 7-story building has added 104 new independent living apartment homes to the community. In addition to many new open apartment floor plans, Willard Square also features additional common area spaces to accommodate the growing number of resident activities and clubs.
"Almost all of the apartment homes at Willard Square feature at least one-and-a-half bathrooms, stainless steel appliances and much more," said Centola. "It is also conveniently connected to Derby Clubhouse by a weather-proof, enclosed walkway so residents can walk right over to many of our fantastic amenities including restaurants, the Performing Arts Center and so much more."
