Linden Ponds Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

Hingham, MA – Ten years ago, Linden Ponds opened its doors for the first time.  This month, people who live and work at Linden Ponds will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Linden Ponds in a grand fashion at the "Some Enchanted Evening" Gala.

The celebration is one of many that has taken place this year to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Linden Ponds, home to 1200 residents.  Over the past few months residents and staff have enjoyed a number of events including a cocktail reception to kick off the 10th year, a  $10,000 Pot of Gold Raffle, "What's it Worth" event hosted by Skinner's, a Summer Garden Party, a Luau and a Luminaries event. 

"This has been a year of celebration," said Mairi (Bleakie) Fuller, Philanthropy Manager, Linden Ponds.  "Our committee has been working very hard for over a year to make all of the events happen and tonight is the grandest party of all.  It's been an exciting year and the celebrating is not over yet."

Linden Ponds has also worked with many outside organizations over the past 10 years including:

  • Pine Street Inn
  • Alzheimer's Association
  • Wellspring Multi Service Center
  • The One Fund
  • Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore
  • Hingham Police and Fire Departments Toys for Tots

"We have great relationships with many outside organizations and we look forward to working with more organizations in the future," said Fuller.

The community has two large clubhouses featuring an on-site medical center, staffed by full-time doctors, two restaurants, a convenience store, a fitness center, a swimming pool, activity rooms, classrooms, game rooms, a television studio, a bank and more.  Residents also have the opportunity to take part in 190 different clubs and activities. 

Linden Ponds, one of 18 continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Living, is situated on a scenic 108 acre campus in Hingham, MA.  The vibrant campus opened its doors in October 2004 to residents seeking a new opportunity to be part of an exciting and vibrant way of life with a chance to add more living to their lives.
