Peace Love Books Club Delivers Holiday Cheer to Highland Springs

November 30, 2011

DALLAS, TX---The Peace Love Books Club, a group of eight fifth-grade students from Frisco, made a special Thanksgiving Eve delivery to the residents of Highland Springs retirement community.
In preparing for their visit, the girls spent two days decorating paper bags with turkeys, fall colors, and seasonal stickers.  Inside the bags were delicious homemade cookies.
On November 23rd, the members of the Peace Love Books Club greeted the residents of Highland Springs as they entered the Chisholm's Restaurant for dinner.  The girls handed out the bags of cookies with smiles, and wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
