Highland Springs Selects Whiting-Turner as General Contractor for Continuum of Care Project

New neighborhood to feature assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation & long-term nursing care services at retirement community campus

DALLAS, TX---Highland Springs, an Erickson Living retirement community, announced the selection of The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as general contractor for its newest neighborhood.
The planned extended-care neighborhood will be comprised of ninety-six (96) units providing assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care services to residents, fulfilling the continuum of care mission of Highland Springs.
Founded in 1909, Whiting-Turner maintains a strong presence in the Texas market with an office in Plano.  Whiting-Turner provides construction management, general contracting and design/build services on projects small and large for a diverse group of customers.
Whiting-Turner will begin pre-construction activities later this fall.  Earlier this year, Highland Springs hired the architect firm REES Associates for planning and design.

The eighty-nine acre community is located in North Dallas.  In its independent living neighborhood, Highland Springs currently features 440 apartment homes with a variety of one and two bedroom floor plans and pricing options.
