Highland Springs Opens Second Clubhouse, Welcomes New Residents

April 18, 2018

Dallas, Texas—Due to the demand for its unique residences and services, Highland Springs is growing once again with the opening of a second community clubhouse.

Named after the beautiful line of trees that adorn its entrance, Magnolia Place is another hub of socialization for residents, their family members and guests of the Erickson Living retirement community.  The clubhouse features a grand living room, library and classroom for activities.

The centerpiece is the Arts and Enrichment Center, a 3,000 square-feet venue to provide a special place for guest speakers, entertainment & theatrical productions and worship services.

Magnolia Place also offers 18 beautiful apartment homes, a new design concept based on customer feedback.  Floor plans include the most popular two-bedroom designs found at Highland Springs.

"It is exciting to see the continued demand for the active lifestyle and predictable financial model that we offer in North Dallas," stated Matt Neville, Executive Director.  "In the coming weeks, we look forward to welcoming new residents to Highland Springs and making lasting friendships.  There is truly something for all of our residents to enjoy in Magnolia Place."

Those amenities also include a new catering room, named the Arbor Room, with an outdoor patio.  It is the ideal location for family gatherings and social club dinners.

Convenience is at the forefront of the Magnolia Place design.

"The apartment homes are located directly above the amenities found in Magnolia Place and just steps away from other dining venues on campus, most notably the Reunion Grille and the future Lone Star Pub," noted Christina Christie, Director of Sales & Marketing.  "The Hillcrest Clubhouse, with our on-site medical center and fitness & aquatics center, is within a short walk.  Because there are only six apartments on each floor, elevator access is easy."

Input from current residents and customers also influenced the apartment home stylings.

"Listening to the preferences of our stakeholders, we are proud to introduce the 'Wimberley' floor plan, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom corner apartment with gorgeous views of the magnolia trees and the pond," said Ms. Christie.  "It features bright, open spaces with opportunities to upgrade via the personalized support offered by our in-house custom interiors department."
