Greenspring Retirement Community to Host Northern Virginia Senior Olympics (NVSO) Wii Bowling Competitions This Week

WHAT: The Northern Virginia Senior Olympics Wii bowling competitions will be taking place at Greenspring retirement community on Tuesday, September 18 (ages 50-79) and Wednesday, September 19 (ages 80-99) this week.

Greenspring is a Gold Sponsor for the Northern Virginia Senior Olympics.  For the fourth consecutive year, the community will host the Wii bowling events in their specially designed alley featuring six virtual bowling lanes.  Over 20 Greenspring residents will be participating this year along with seniors across Northern Virginia.  Last year, four Greenspring residents received gold medals in their age group during the Northern Virginia Senior Olympics; Clint Lambert (60-69), Joan Matteson (70-79), Ted Campbell (80-89), Ray Kaminski (90-99).  All four will be returning this year hoping to defend their titles!
