Congressional candidate, Chris Perkins, will be visiting Greenspring at the invitation of the resident Republican Club on October 2. Perkins won the Republican nomination for Virginia's 11th congressional district on June 12.
The 2012 Chairman for Virginia Victory, Pete Snyder, will also be visiting Greenspring on Tuesday. According to Virginia Victory's website, it "is the coordinated campaign in charge of winning the state of Virginia for the Republicans in 2012."
Greenspring became a precinct in 2003 and traditionally produces the highest voter turnout across the Commonwealth. There are nearly 1900 registered voters residing at the community.
