Michigan's Top Dog to be Crowned September 28 at Fox Run's "Strut Your Mutt" Dog Show

A "Strut Your Mutt" Dog Show at Fox Run retirement community in Novi. MI, in which nearly 50 Maltase, Poodles, Terriers, and Siberian Husky's will compete for Michigan's "Top Dog" honor. The dogs are pets of Fox Run residents and staff.
Saturday, September 28 (from 10:30 a.m. - Noon) in the Ascot Clubhouse parking lot near the pond at Fox Run, 41000 Thirteen Mile Road, Novi, MI.
The "Strut Your Mutt" Dog Show will begin with the playing of the song "Who Let the Dogs Out."
As each dog and dog owner is called, he and she will get up and walk their dog around a circle. An emcee will announce the dog's name, its breed and a fun fact about its breed. Dogs will participate in easy obstacles as they walk around the circle.
Each dog will receive an award of some kind. Signature awards will be presented for:   "Most likely to Chase a Mailman," "Best Wag," "Best Dressed for the Occasion,"  "Shortest Leg," and "Most Loveable," and the coveted "Top Dog."
Each dog will also receive a homemade gourmet dog bone cookie from Three Dog Bakery in Plymouth MI. Each bagged cookie will have a "Strut Your Mutt 2013" inscription on it, along with the title of the winning dog's respective award.
A Pet Blessing will conclude the dog show.
All dogs will have their "official" photos taken next to the Bright Red Fire Hydrant at Fox Run.
