NOVI, MI ( April 12, 2017) – Fox Run retirement community is this year's recipient of the Novi Chamber of Commerce "Best Place to Work" award for Large Business. This is the second successive year Fox Run has won. This Business Recognition Award honors Fox Run's exemplary work culture, which is recapped, in part, in the following:
From lip sync contests to quarterly employee breakfasts, being a Fox Run employee is anything but ordinary. Fox Run employs 700 people across many different departments, but the one constant is keeping every employee happy and engaged.
Fox Run seemingly has everything -- from having 40 hours of paid volunteerism and tuition assistance, to its employee appreciation fund and its student scholarship fund. The employee appreciation fund is collected and dispersed annually, and there is a drive to collect donations to give back to the community's hourly workers such as student servers, line cooks, housekeepers, and maintenance workers. The money is divided up and given out based on the employee's tenure and hours worked.
Employees participate in resident-run theater productions, as well as in competitions such as The Newlywed Game, Lip Sync Battle, and Dancing with the Staff. Year-round celebratory events for staff and residents include Super Bowl parties and an Octoberfest party.
Monthly employee service anniversary celebration breakfasts are cherished and is a great way to show that everyone at Fox Run feels valued.
Employees at Fox Run each day share their gifts to create a community that celebrates life.
