NOVI, MI (November 21, 2016) -- Kristine Kluge has worked for Erickson Living, manager and developer of Fox Run, for more than two decades in a variety of jobs. She this year took on a new role: Personal Moving Consultant at Fox Run where she is now a concierge of sorts.
"I was up for a new challenge professionally and have seen how personal moving consultants have helped so many people make smooth transitions to their new life at Fox Run," she says. "I wanted to be a part of that process."
Her job is to offer support, resources, and referrals to prospective Fox Run residents as they prepare for their moves to the community. Kluge also helps new residents take advantage of Erickson Realty and Moving Services, a program through which new residents can access a suite of services, from real estate agent referrals and moving company recommendations to help with floor planning and interior decorating.
Kluge assists residents through a 'concierge approach,' which provides a customized array of highly professional resources to reduce the anxiety associated with moving.
"Through an initial home consultation with future residents, I will create a plan to help them through the various steps it takes to make a move to Fox Run," Kluge says.
With a bachelor's degree in psychology from Michigan State University and a master's in social work from Boston University, Kluge began her career as a social work manager.
She moved into the sales and marketing department, working over the years as a sales counselor, senior sales associate, and community outreach coordinator at several Erickson Living communities. She has worked at Fox Run for the past eight years.
