As the Executive Chef at Devonshire, Donnelly will oversee the culinary production at the community's five dining venues, which provide daily service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Sunday brunch, and operations for resident events and banquets. He will also support the recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of culinary staff, which comprises the largest team at the community. Along with the Director of Dining Services, Donnelly will work to ensure five-star culinary quality and service excellence at the community.
Donnelly has more than 15 years of experience in culinary service, preparation, and operations. Prior to joining Devonshire, Donnelly was a Sous Chef at Stroudsmoor Country Inn, a large-scale event venue in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He has also worked as the Head Chef at Harvest Specialty Catering in New Brunswick, New Jersey and as the Executive Chef at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Additionally, Donnelly spent several years in culinary production at Somerset Hills Hotel and Inn at Somerset Hills/Hotel Indigo in Warren, New Jersey, where his positions included Sous Chef and Executive Chef, among others.
