MEDIA ADVISORY: Assemblyman Scott Rumana to Give Cedar Crest Employees N.J. State Assembly Proclamation Honoring Them for Hard Work During Difficult Winter Season

March 28, 2014

POMPTON PLAINS, NJ - Cedar Crest employees will be given a nice surprise this Wednesday, April 2 at 12 p.m., at a luncheon where their hard work, during what seemed to be an endless winter, will be recognized.
The surprise at the Cedar Crest Spring Fling event will come all the way from the steps of the New Jersey Statehouse in Trenton as Assemblyman Scott Rumana will present the community with a special proclamation from the New Jersey State General Assembly--- honoring staffers for their hard work, dedication and professionalism for going above and beyond in caring for the residents and community during the harsh winter.
This winter season, Cedar Crest, one of New Jersey's premier continuing care retirement communities, received approximately 60 inches of snow. Staff worked around the clock, some sleeping overnights at the community, to ensure the nearly 2,000 residents were cared for in a comfortable and pleasant environment.
Assemblyman Rumana will present the proclamation to Executive Director Cathy Guttman and employees in the Woodland Commons Conference Center. Cedar Crest is located at One Cedar Crest Village Drive, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.
