Residents at Brooksby Village Enjoyed Foods From Different Countries During Olympics

February 24, 2014

Peabody, MA -- People who live at Brooksby Village enjoyed different cuisines from around the world every night during the Olympics.

"To celebrate the Olympics, we offered a special meal every evening in all of our restaurants highlighting a different country," said Charleen Archambault, Director of Dining Services, Brooksby Village.  "We offered cuisine from Canada, Mexico, France and China. We also featured  Iceland with a monkfish stew, Portugal with a Portuguese stew with calamari and chorizo sausage, Serbia where we featured a dessert called Tulambe, a sweet dough that is traditionally fried and soaked in a simple syrup overnight and drizzled with chocolate and Finland where smoked salmon tartrate over warm spinach salad with a pancetta vinaigrette."
