Lights were shining bright at the Broadway to Brooksby Gala

Peabody, MA – It felt like Broadway at Brooksby Village on Friday night when hundreds of people who live and work at Brooksby Village, an Erickson Living community in Peabody, MA, attended the Broadway to Brooksby Gala.
"This was our 18th annual Charity Gala and it was a wonderful night," said Elizabeth Macomber, Philanthropy Manager, Brooksby Village. "Each year the Gala brings together both people who live and work at Brooksby Village with our supporting vendors and local community members. The evening includes a cocktail reception, dinner and entertainment. Everyone looks forward to this event every year."
Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, a Broadway Celebration dinner, dessert and entertainment provided by James Michael, Baritone. All menu items were named after Broadway shows including Grand Hotel, Guys and Dolls, South Pacific, Momma Mia, Chicago, Wicked and more!
"The Gala Planning Committee is made up of residents who help staff plan for this special event. We are grateful to everyone at Brooksby Village for all that they do to make this annual event a memorable evening," said Macomber.
More than $40,000 was raised at the event this year. Proceeds from the Brooksby Village Gala benefit the Resident Care Fund which is a fund set up to provide support to residents who, despite careful planning, outlive their financial resources. This fund enables residents to remain at Brooksby Village, knowing they will always receive the care they deserve.
Brooksby Village is a vibrant continuing care retirement community managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 90 acre campus is located in Peabody, MA and is home to more than 1700 residents.
