Peabody, MA - People who live and work at Brooksby Village will walk a mile and raise money for the Benevolent Care Fund at the 11th Annual Brooksby Marathon.
"Every year we have hundreds of people participate in the Brooksby Village marathon," said Stefanie Fuller, Fitness Specialist, Brooksby Village. "It's a wonderful event and everyone loves to participate either as a walker or a cheerleader."
Participants will walk a mile and there will be an awards ceremony immediately after the event.
Partial proceeds will go to the The Benevolent Care Fund which is a Fund set up to provide support to residents who, despite careful planning, outlive their financial resources. This Fund enables residents to remain at Brooksby Village, knowing they will always receive the care they deserve.
The Brooksby Village Marathon will take place Wednesday, May 23 at 11am.
