Elizabeth Macomber Named Leader of the Year at Brooksby Village

Peabody, MA— Elizabeth Macomber, Philanthropy Manager at Brooksby Village, an Erickson Living developed and managed retirement community in Peabody, MA, was named the retirement community's Leader of the Year for 2018. 

Macomber was one of 20 employees selected by their respective communities or corporate departments and recognized nationally among her peers during the Erickson Living Annual Meeting held in Baltimore, Maryland on March 4. 

The recognition is given to a manager or director who continually demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and inspires, motivates and empowers his or her team members to commit to excellence in serving residents. 

"Elizabeth has been a tremendous asset to our community since her arrival," said Tracie Bettano, Brooksby Village Executive Director.  "She is a professional and talented leader who not only sets high expectations for herself, but motivates others to do the same. Elizabeth was also named as Brooksby Village's Manager of the Year for 2017 due to her exceptional work.  We are fortunate to have her share her many gifts with our residents and employees and were thrilled she was honored in front of her peers."

Macomber began working at Brooksby Village in 2016 and is a graduate of St. Lawrence University.
