Brooksby Village Names Reverend Karen Maleri Manager of Pastoral Ministries

Brooksby Village has named Reverend Karen Maleri as the new Manager of Pastoral Ministries. Reverend Maleri comes to Brooksby Village with a wealth of experience in interfaith collaboration, management, and continuing care retirement community experience. 
 She was an ecumenical liaison for her church in the Milton Interfaith Clergy Association immediately prior to her coming to Brooksby Village.  Reverend Maleri helped to  establish, manage and staff a volunteer program known as the Compassionate Caregivers Group at Havenwood-Heritage Heights, a CCRC in Concord NH, where Reverend Maleri served for eight years. She has been involved with the pastoral counseling of individuals in a number of diverse ministry settings; her parish, a retirement community, a psychiatric hospital, a NH prison, Concord Hospital, NH Hospital for the Mentally Ill.  Reverend Maleri worked  as a consultant for many UCC Churches in New Hampshire, and at several Episcopal parishes. Reverend Maleri also served as Priest and Chaplain at the NH House of Representatives and NH Senate and was invited to offer Invocations from 2004 through 2009.
 Reverend Maleri is canonically resident with the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. She was ordained as deacon at St. George's Church in Sanford Maine in 2004.  Reverend Maleri sought and was granted dual standing with United Church of Christ, Merrimack NH and was ordained priest at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Concord, NH
