Peabody, MA – Brooksby Village residents and staff will be celebrating Diversity Month throughout the entire month of March with a number of fun and educational events at the retirement community.
"We were really excited about all the Diversity Month opportunities planned for our residents and staff this year," said Rev. Chad William Kidd, Pastoral Ministries Manager, Brooksby Village. "One of our most popular events is "Tasting Brooksby Diversity." At this event, residents enjoy cuisine from around the world thanks to the Brooksby Village Dining Services team. From guest speakers, to movies, films, music and more, a number of events are planned to celebrate Diversity."
All are open to people who live and work at Brooksby Village.
"Back by popular demand this year our Story Boards," said Kidd. "Staff and residents decorate foam boards with the story of their life and they are then displayed around the community. It's a wonderful way to get to know everyone here even more. We really can't thank everyone enough who help make Diversity Month possible."
