65 Residents and Staff Participate in 16th Annual Brooksby Village Marathon

Peabody, MA -- More than 65 people who live and work at Brooksby Village participated in the 16th annual Brooksby Village Marathon.

"What a great day we had this year," said Rokia Paone, Fitness Manager, Brooksby Village. "The sun was shining and many came out to run and walk the one mile course. We also had people along the route cheering on the participants.  It's always a very popular event with both residents and staff."

Brooksby Village residents also filmed the marathon to air on Brooksby Village's internal TV station, TV 919. The crew filmed the marathon on a golf cart so they could keep up with the runners.

Brooksby Village is a vibrant continuing care retirement community managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 90 acre campus is located in Peabody, MA and is home to more than 1700 residents.
