There are over 150 veterans at Ashby Ponds, a community that is home to just over 600 residents.  One veteran, for example, is a 4th generation war veteran named Benjamin Givens; his great grandfather fought in the Civil War, his grandfather in the Spanish-American War, his father in World War I, and Benjamin in World War II.  Read his story here!
In September, the residents of Ashby Ponds held a dedication eventfor the veterans of the community.  They dedicated a veterans' plaque featuring the seals of each of the branches of the military.  Congressman Wolf, Chairman York, and Supervisor Waters joined the residents for the celebration.
