Ashburn, Virginia--By the numbers, the Spring Open House held at Ashby Ponds on May 31 was a resounding success.
The event drew more than 250 guests to the Erickson Living community in Ashburn, Virginia. They toured 14 apartment homes in the beautiful Birch Point and Cypress Ridge residential buildings, showcasing a variety of floor plans, styles and custom features that match all tastes and budgets, and received a first-hand look at the amenities offered in the Great Oak Clubhouse.
The guests, a mix of priority list members and new visitors, were assisted by a team of volunteers that included 26 resident ambassadors of Ashby Ponds and another 17 corporate and community employees.
But personal connections made the open house extra meaningful.
"The spring expo provided us with the opportunity to build even stronger relationships with priority list members and showcase Ashby Ponds to new friends," described Holly Henderson, Director of Sales & Marketing. "Our volunteers, particularly the resident ambassadors, were able to provide insight and share their experiences about the lifestyle enjoyed at our community. As a result, we were proud to welcome new reservists and priority list members during the event."
2018 is another banner year for Ashby Ponds.
"It is an exciting time as we opened our newest independent living building, Cypress Ridge, in May. The multi-denominational chapel will open in September, and the community will celebrate its tenth anniversary that same month," said Mrs. Henderson. "The entire team is proud of these milestones, but they all begin with one interaction at a time. We thank everyone who shared their talents to make the event a wonderful experience for our guests."
