Ashby Ponds Opens New Independent Living Residences

July 24, 2019

Ashburn, Virginia—Ashby Ponds, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living, announced the opening of its newest independent living building, Belmont Commons.

"Ashby Ponds is proud to meet the tremendous demand in Loudoun County for our maintenance-free lifestyle and convenient services," said Holly Henderson, Director of Sales. "As we begin construction on our third neighborhood, the independent living residences of Belmont Commons suit a variety of tastes at a smart value.  The response from new residents has been terrific."

Belmont Commons adds 120 new apartment homes to Ashby Ponds with spacious layouts featuring modernized kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, full-size washers and dryers and walk-in closets.

"We listened carefully to what our current residents and priority list members like most about apartment homes already on campus," stated Mrs. Henderson.  "As a result, Belmont Commons has an abundance of popular large, two-bedroom floor plans that meet the active lifestyle of our residents."

Via climate-controlled walkways, each new apartment home is easily accessible to Ashby Ponds' two clubhouses where residents enjoy restaurants & pubs, a fitness & aquatics center, day spa, on-site medical center, performing arts theater, music & arts studios and more.

The custom interior opportunities conveniently found on campus are attractive to new residents, too.

"It's exciting to see our customers create their dream homes at Ashby Ponds, choosing from a selection of flooring, paint, custom closet options and window treatments," noted Mrs. Henderson.  "Our interiors coordinator helps residents choose from a variety of options to personalize their space."
