Residents Revel in Irish Culture to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
WARMINSTER, PA - About 80 Ann's Choice residents captured the luck o' the Irish earlier today at the community in a melodious way as they were serenaded by the sounds of professional bagpiper Gary Guth from Holland, Bucks County as part of a special St. Patrick's Pre-party party.
The event, which featured refreshments that would sweeten any tooth, including traditional Irish soda bread, shamrock cookies, Irish Potatoes and coffee with Bailey's Irish Cream, was a rousing hit.
The party got off to an important start as the cultural and religious history and significance of the holiday was read to the residents and then Mr. Guth entered playing the popular bagpipe riff Minstrel Boy. He then delighted the crowd who was adorned in green Irish derby hats with songs such as Scotland the Brave and other popular holiday tunes.
Gary Guth is a professional bagpipe instructor and may be contacted through his website: www.buckscountybagpiper.com
