New Program Lets People Take Ann’s Choice for a Test Drive

November 10, 2017

Ann's Choice Experience allows prospective residents to try out Lifestyle at Retirement Community

Moving to a senior living community is a big decision. That's why Ann's Choice, an Erickson Living retirement community in Buck's County, started a new program that allows prospective residents to take Ann's Choice for a "test drive" before making the big move to campus.

"We launched the 'Ann's Choice Experience' in March for our priority list members," said Sales Director Deborah Olcese. "The program gives members exclusive access to our community by giving them a special badge which allows them admission to campus 24/7, so they can experience what life is like on campus and make an informed decision."

The Ann's Choice Experience is an addition to the already established priority list program. The priority list allows prospective residents to reserve their place in line for the apartment style of their choice. All it takes to join is a fully refundable $1,000 deposit and a $150-per-person, nonrefundable application fee.  Other perks of membership include invitations to luncheons, apartment home tours, realty and moving assistance from Ann's Choice Personal Moving Consultant, and other exclusive priority list events.

A special priority list badge identifies "Ann's Choice Experience" members to people who already live at Ann's Choice, so they can expect friendly hellos and requests to hear what life is really like at Ann's Choice. During their visits, priority list members are encouraged to pick up a monthly events calendar to see what activities they might drop in on.  If space is available, they can even go on trips with Ann's Choice's travel group at the same discounted rate that community members pay.

"I highly recommend becoming a priority list member," said Adrianne Cohen.  "By spending time on campus, I have gotten a pulse of the community. I have enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurants and socializing with residents.  Everyone is friendly and willing to answer my questions about the lifestyle on campus."

Cohen said that she even ran into a neighbor who used to live in her development and a family friend from Florida.  "It was wonderful to catch up and see each other again.  I already feel part of the community and look forward to calling Ann's Choice my home in the near future," said Cohen.

"Another exciting perk is the opportunity for a complimentary stay in Ann's Choice's 'experience suite' on campus," said Olcese.

With the sales office handling arrangements, members will receive an itinerary based on their interests and be connected with residents who share those interests. They'll also be paired with an Ann's Choice ambassador. Come evening, they'll dine with a resident host at the campus restaurant of their choice to enjoy cooked-to-order entrees and delectable desserts from an extensive Signature Dining menu.

"We encourage people interested in moving to Ann's Choice to join our priority list so they can experience the pulse of our community and the carefree lifestyle they'll enjoy during the next, best years of their lives," said Olcese.
