The major renovation improves flow, efficiency, and ambiance at the popular restaurant located in the Village Clubhouse.
"Our community members will enjoy our beautiful and contemporary restaurant for many years to come," said Executive Director Chris Donati.
The redesigned setting at Banners Café features a soft, blue-gray palette, light and dark woods, comfortable upholstered chairs, and speckled granite counters. A second dining area has oversized windows and a fireplace for a cozy feel.
Christopher Babst, head of dining services at Ann's Choice, said, "The design group did an amazing job. They created a look that's modern and inviting. Everything about it says, "Come in and enjoy yourself."
"We installed commercial equipment that enables us to prepare grilled and sautéed items on the spot and serve them piping hot. We're excited to offer delicious new options, as well as everyone's favorite foods, in such a beautiful setting," said Babst.
The reaction to the new menu and design has been overwhelmingly positive. "I predict that Banners will be more popular than ever," said Babst.
The Banners Café is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features Ann's Choice's Signature Dining menu with fresh, cooked-to-order choices. Residents can also dine at the four other restaurants on campus, which provide residents a selection of casual grab-and-go meals, hearty pub fare, and elegant, multi-course dinners.
