WARMINSTER, PA - Ann's Choice announced today that its Continuing Care facility was named one of America's Top Nursing Homes by the Washington, DC based Consumers' Research Council of America.
The high quality long-term care, short-term rehabilitation sectors were rated by an external company, Consumers' Research Council of America.
The five-star rating was given to Ann's Choice by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Certified Medicare Services. Both groups recognized Ann's Choice's Continuing Care community as a quality health care facility because it excelled in five areas:
- RN staffing
- Quality Measures
- Lack of Deficienicies, and
- Overall Rating
Over the past two and a half years the community has received this prestigious honor.
The Ann's Choice Continuing Care community scored high marks in eight categories following a state inspection. The benchmark used were the following categories:
- Quality Care
- Resident Assessment
- Resident Rights
- Nutrition and Dietary
- Pharmacy Service
